Survey for Release or Late Start

A short survey for you to distribute to your parents is now online, and open until April 20, 2013. Please share this link in your school newsletters and on your school website. I will be adding a link to the District homepage shortly.

This is the link:

Few things for you to know:

  • Employees are not included in this survey, unless they will have a child attending school in August 2013.
  • A family only needs to complete one survey—they have an option to indicate all the schools that their children will be attending.
  • There are two questions, and one optional comment box.
  • We deliberately did not ask a question about early release or late start preference.
  • The time would be 1.5 hours, seven times each school year.
  • Information is described on the opening page of the survey.

If you need a short invitation for your website or newsletter, this could be a starter for you:

Parents: please take two minutes to offer your preference about an early release or late start seven times in the coming school year. Our staff will benefit from collaboration time to support their instructional practices. The KPBSD survey is online, and open until April 20. Thank you. Link:
