Port Graham School Supply List-2016
Our first semester brought in our new teachers, Ms. Devin and Mr. Colby, both of whom have jumped into all sorts of activities with students! We had a successful launch to our cross country running program in the fall, strong leadership skills emerging from our student council, and a fun-filled holiday season! As we move into spring, secondary students are working on their new elective, Family and Consumer Sciences, which will bring a lot of hands-on and traditional activities into the classroom. All students continue to read, read, read, and our Kindles support their learning. We are also learning the Two-Step and other dances through a school/community collaboration which brings Eddie Wood to the dance floor to teach us how to dance! Every morning at assembly, students hear the news of the day, have a chance to make their own announcements, and reinforce their Sugt’stun vocabulary. Port Graham School may be small, but it is is lively!
We have reached the end of the first quarter and we couldn’t be happier with how this school year is starting off. The teachers have brought an amazing energy to our school and we are proud to have them. Thank you to all who has helped with the start of the year and your help is greatly appreciated.
Tomorrow, Oct. 29th, 2015 is our first Parent/Teacher Conferences of the year. Reminders for the dates and times of your conferences have been sent out in the mail. If you have lost yours please feel free in calling the school to find out what date and time you are scheduled for.
If you have any questions at all please call the school to talk with the Secretary or our Principal Nancy Kleine.
